Crippled Black Phoenix announce new album ‘Sceaduhelm’
CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX have announced a brand new album!
The UK post‑rock/doom collective have announced their upcoming new album, Sceaduhelm, set to be released on April 17th via Season of Mist.
The record serves as the follow‑up to 2022’s Banefyre and continues the band’s reputation for emotionally weighty, genre‑defying work across their extensive catalogue.
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released the new single Ravenettes, the first composition written for Sceaduhelm and the piece that defined the album’s tonal and thematic core. Built on repetition, restraint, and controlled momentum, the track explores the cyclical resurfacing of trauma and the unease of suppressed memories returning without warning.
