Crown The Empire announce new album ‘Dogma’
CROWN THE EMPIRE have announced a new album!
Titled Dogma, the upcoming album from the American metalcore band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Sudden Sky, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Rise Records.
The upcoming album was produced and mixed by Zach Jones [FEVER 333, POORSTACY, SCENE QUEEN, NOVA TWINS] and intends to be a diverse album fuelled by angst, existential identity, isolation, and determination. “The lyrics are less wordy and lofty. It’s more honest and direct,” shares vocalist Andy Leo. “We brought back the classic elements of CROWN without taking anything away from what we’ve done more recently,” shares bassist Hayden Tree. “The high-energy, fast-paced, hard-hitting riffs, with the band’s more melodic side, mashed together into an updated sound.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; the title track DOGMA. The new song is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Immortalize, In Another Life and Dancing With The Dead.
