Currents release new music video for ‘Delusion
CURRENTS have released a brand new music video!
The new music video, for the track Delusion, is taken from the band’s latest album The Place I Feel Safest which was released back in June. The arrival of the new music video comes as the band prepare to tour across Europe and the UK with MISS MAY I. Speaking about the new music video, vocalist Brian Wille says, “Delusion is a song about control and obsession. We all come across people who cling too tightly, and sometimes we’re the ones guilty of it. Writing this song helped me to deal with my experiences in both respects; dealing with someone who wants to be involved with every aspect of your life, and also with being the one who cares too much. For the video, we toyed with the idea of having a narrative like we had with Apnea and Withered, but ultimately decided that we should focus more on the instrumental performance, which gives a better idea of the effort that went into every riff, drum fill and lead. We hope you guys enjoy the song and video as much as we enjoyed putting it together.”
