Damnation Festival announce High Parasite

Damnation Festival have announced a new band for this year’s festival!

Following the latest announcement, which saw the likes of THE OCEAN and A SWARM OF THE SUN confirmed, now, another band has been announced for this year’s extreme metal festival in Manchester.

HIGH PARASITE, the band helmed by MY DYING BRIDE‘s Aaron Stainthorpe, have been announced for this year’s festival. They replace LORD DYING, who withdraw from the lineup due to a serious health concern in the band’s camp.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, HIGH PARASITE‘s Aaron says, “it’s an honour to be asked to take part in such a prestigious festival and every member of HIGH PARASITE is utterly thrilled.”

Festival organiser Gavin McInally adds, “we’re gutted to lose LORD DYING but wish them a speedy recovery and hope our paths cross again in the near future. We’re delighted to welcome HIGH PARASITE and their catchy blend of goth ‘n’ roll to the bill and expect to see a rammed arena when they make their Damnation debut, very soon.”

Damnation Festival 2024 takes place at BEC Arena, Manchester from 1st November – 2nd November 2024. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
