Dayseeker announce new album ‘Dark Sun’
DAYSEEKER have announced a new album!
Titled Dark Sun, the upcoming album from the South Californian post-hardcore band is the follow-up to 2019’s Sleeptalk, and is scheduled to be released in November this year, via Spinefarm Records.
Speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist Rory Rodriguez says, “Dark Sun is a collection of songs that deeply explored my personal life over the last two years. Most of it is written about my father’s passing, about how it felt like the sun burned out the day he passed, and how the world is a little darker without him in it.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Without Me.
Speaking about the new song, Rodriguez says, “Without Me is about an old relationship that died and how it begged to ask the question: ‘How do you feel the same without me as a part of their life?”
