Dead Lakes announce new EP ‘New Language’
DEAD LAKES have announced a new EP!
Titled New Language, the upcoming EP from the Pacific Northwest outfit is scheduled to be released in May this year, via the band’s new home at SharpTone Records.
For the upcoming EP, the band teamed up with producer Erik Ron [GODSMACK, DANCE GAVIN DANCE, SET IT OFF] for the five songs that comprise New Language.
Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new song from the upcoming release; titled Close 2 Me. Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Close 2 Me is about being hurt by someone you’ve recently grown close with. You know that feeling when you feel like everyone you have let close doesn’t work out, or stick around? This is basically about being ready to try to be a part of “the world” again and having to relive how it didn’t work out every time before.”
