Dealing With Damage announce new album ‘Use The Daylight’
DEALING WITH DAMAGE have announced their new album!
Titled Use The Daylight, the new album from the London-based post-punk band is scheduled to be released in January next year via Little Rocket Records. It follows their 2020 debut full-length Ask The Questions and was written and recording in the midst of the pandemic in various sessions between 2020 and late 2021 at No Recording Studios with John Hannon and then with Pat Collier at Perry Vale Studios.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a music video for its lead single John’s Gone. The song is a heartfelt tribute to the band’s producer and friend John Hannon, who passed away suddenly in 2021, having already recorded 50% of the material on Use The Daylight. The band write, “His unexpected passing came as a huge shock and left a gaping hole. His sessions were always relaxed, creative and fun and he had a never-ending cache of wonderful stories.”
