Decapitated announce new album ‘Anticult’
Polish death metal titans DECAPITATED have announced a new album!
Titled Anticult, the new offering from the Polish metallers follows 2014’s Blood Mantra and is scheduled to be released in July this year! Speaking about the new album, guitarist Vogg says, “Anticult represents the legacy and future of DECAPITATED. We’re extremely proud of the record, in both the song compositions and the production. This is the best representation of our music and we’re really excited for the world to hear it!”
Alongside the announcement of the new album the band has also revealed the first single from the upcoming album, titled Never. Speaking about the new track, Vogg says, “Never, the first track we are showcasing from the record, is fast, it’s technical, and most importantly, it’s heavy. For us, it’s what DECAPITATED is all about… and it will be really fun to play live. Enjoy it!” Offering insight into the lyrical themes, vocalist Rasta says, “there is no mystical, doomish fate waiting for us. The only judgement pending is our own. The simple relationship between cause and effect is what determines our future. We are now witnessing something that should never have happened — our homes have become our civilisation’s grave.”
