Defects release new song ‘Goliath’
DEFECTS have released a brand new song!
The new song, titled Goliath, is the brand new single from the UK metalcore band and follows on from their debut album, Modern Error, which was released back in May, via Mascot Records.
The new single was previously only available on the physical formats of the album. The release of the new single comes ahead of the band’s headlining UK tour, which kicks off later this month.
Speaking about the new single, vocalist Tony Maue says, “Goliath was written during the middle of COVID. I had randomly been contacted by my mother and it really affected me. The last thing I wanted was contact after everything that happened. For me there’s too much water under the bridge. The person she was/is I can’t be around. The song is to serve as a pillar to basically say ‘leave me and my life alone’.”
