Deftones announce new album ‘private music’
DEFTONES have announced a new album!
Titled private music, the upcoming album from the Sacramento-based alternative metal band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s Ohms, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Reprise/Warner Records.
The band recorded and co-produced private music in various locations in California, including Malibu and Joshua Tree, as well as Nashville, Tennessee with Grammy Award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz. It marks their third collaboration with Raskulinecz who had previously helmed Diamond Eyes [2010] and Koi No Yokan [2012].
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song from the upcoming album; my mind is a mountain.
