Dødheimsgard announce European tour

DØDHEIMSGARD have announced a European tour!

Set for November and December, the tour will see the black metal pioneers touring across mainland Europe and the UK with BÖLZER. The band is set to play a mixed set from all periods including songs never before performed on a stage.

Singer and guitarist, Vicotnik, tells us that the band has taken a one-year hiatus from live performances in order to sharpen their hunger and freshen their live performance, “nothing smells more like shit than a band just diddley-doodling through their repetitive routines. Sometimes you find yourself just becoming a striving self-indulgent parody in relation to what was once intended as your true ambition. Then you need to stop for a while, take a step back, reassess, demolish and re-configure. It all has to make sense on a deeper level, it cannot only be about external motivational factors, it has to be about the art itself, the love, the passion, and having the heart and the spirit to convey it transparently and truthfully.”
