Download Festival confirms first headliner

Download Festival have confirmed the first headliner for 2018’s festival!

Returning next June, the UK’s biggest rock and metal festival have confirmed the first headliner for next year’s festival! Ozzy Osbourne will headline the Sunday night of the festival following previous appearances with BLACK SABBATH, this will be Ozzy‘s solo first appearance at Download. Speaking about the booking, festival promoter Andy Copping says, “we’re unbelievably excited to have Ozzy as one of the headliners next year. Already hailing from the midlands, Ozzy Osbourne is no stranger to Download, and after BLACK SABBATH closed the festival in 2016, how could I not ask The Prince of Darkness to come back all on his own? The Download family are without a shadow of a doubt, in for a treat.”

Download Festival takes place on 8-10 June 2018 at Donington Park. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
