Well, here we are. Distorted Sound Issue 128. Firstly, I’d like to offer my apologies for the delay between our issues. Due to ongoing issues in my personal life, we have unfortunately faced setbacks and challenges with our production and release schedule. But, looking ahead, we’ve got SO much killer music to cover, so let’s crack on!
Issue 128 sees us cover both the months of February and March, and this month sees one of metal’s juggernauts return; LAMB OF GOD. They grace our cover as they explode back with Into Oblivion; holding a mirror to the horror and rapidly declining state of our present day. It’s a ferociously honest record, and we sit down with Randy Blythe to deep dive into it all. It makes for a compelling read.
Elsewhere, I’m proud of the diversity of sound we have across our pages in this latest issue. We catch up with Kentucky favourites BLACK STONE CHERRY to explore their new Celebrate EP, and we speak with black metal legends MAYHEM as they return with their incredible new album, Liturgy Of Death.
