Downswing announce new album ‘And Everything Was Dark’
DOWNSWING have announced a brand new album!
Titled And Everything Was Dark, the upcoming album from the New York City-based metalcore band is scheduled to be released in October this year, via their new home at MNRK Heavy.
“Every song on this record has real meaning,” says vocalist Harrison Seanor about the upcoming album. “There are songs about people we’ve lost, about people we’ve watched spiral, about trying to forgive people who hurt you. It’s personal, but I think people will relate to it in their own way.”
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released a music video for lead single For What It’s Worth, featuring guest vocals from Travis Moseley of COLORBLIND. Speaking about the track, vocalist Harrison Seanor says, “as a collective going into the studio, we knew that For What It’s Worth was a heavy favorite. Right from the opening riff, it just has that energy, that drive. It’s hard not to bang your head.”
