Dream State release new music video for ‘Twenty Letters’
DREAM STATE have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Twenty Letters, is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Primrose Path which is scheduled to be released tomorrow!
Speaking of the new music video, vocalist CJ Gilpin says, “we loved planning the video for Twenty Letters, the idea was to conjure up an ethereal experience and display the emotion of it visually. We took some inspiration from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the idea of other entities enticing and manipulating the way we feel, which can sometimes feel like the thoughts in your head are being pulled in various directions.
I took this concept and applied my own vision, having shadow selves represented by the dark angels who hold hope and light. The lights they hold represent the stream of positive thought that is always present and can be passed on, we all have something to offer. I face my shadow self towards the end and find healing in finding myself, I am able to take this out into the world and face bigger monsters and give light to the ones who have created bigger monsters of themselves.”
