Drudkh announce new EP ‘Thaw’
DRUDKH have announced a brand new EP!
Ukrainian atmospheric black metal entity have announced their forthcoming EP Thaw, set for release on April 24th via Season of Mist: Underground Activists. Conceived during the same sessions as their 2025 album Shadow Play, the new EP serves as a direct continuation of that record’s emotional and thematic landscape, functioning as a distilled appendix rather than a standalone chapter.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released the lead single Memory, a seven‑minute composition built on deliberate pacing, suspended melodies, and restrained repetition. Originally created within the creative horizon of Shadow Play, the track reflects the EP’s central image of “thawing” as a fragile shift between stasis and subtle movement.
