Egregore release new music video for ‘Servants Of The Second Death’
EGREGORE have released a new music video!
Vancouver-based occult black/death metal entity have unveiled a new music video for their latest single, Servants Of The Second Death. The track marks the newest chapter from the band and serves as a preview of their upcoming second album It Echoes In The Wild (the follow-up to 2022’s The Word Of His Law), which is set to be released on March 20th via 20 Buck Spin.
Speaking about the track, guitarist/vocalist Catastrophe Saturna declares, “know this! We consulted the ancient teachings of Nagarjuna and Halford both, and upon total realization, we were able to part from the burden of all the acts performed in service to the second death. What is done is done! There is no regret once the prerequisite requirements of any given moment are understood. We have slept with the Three Fates against better judgement, slid into the DMs of obscure Gods, made a fool of the self before the council of spirits, and stand before you now as the Emperor of all Times and Places dressed as court jester.”
Drummer/vocalist Essentia Collapse adds, “the result of pounding all things Hellenic, Italian, Brazilian, and Mexican into our skulls, mixed with the existing bedrock of shaky Floridian death weirdness, Servants of the Second Death explores various flavours of The End in its almighty glory and insignificance, revealing a more heavy metallic shade of the EGREGORE found throughout It Echoes In The Wild.”
