Eight more bands confirmed for Bloodstock Festival
Eight more bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!
Spring is finally here and with the sunshine, we here at Distorted Sound, are waiting ever so patiently for festival season and now, the good people behind Bloodstock have announced a further eight bands for this year’s lineup!
Announced today are Brit tech/prog extremists KRYSTHLA, who will kick off proceedings on the Ronnie James Dio main Stage on Saturday whilst LA-based metal squad, ALL HAIL THE YETI are set to open the main stage on Sunday.
Six more bands pick up spots on the Sophie Lancaster Stage, bringing their glorious noise for your delectation on both Thursday and Friday. Kicking off on Thursday are doom-laden riffmongers, BARBARIAN HERMIT, classic hard rockers BLIND RIVER, groove heavy slug-lords TEN TON SLUG and bringing the party and all the laughs for opening night, FOOTPRINTS IN THE CUSTARD. On Friday on the Sophie Stage, COUNTLESS SKIES and sludge metal squad BONGCAULDRON will both perform sets during the day.
Bloodstock Festival takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 8th-11th August 2019. Standard weekend tickets, priced £145, are on sale now and can be purchased here.
