El Moono release new music video for ‘The Waking Sun’

EL MOONO have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track The Waking Sun, is the title track from the Brighton-based band’s upcoming debut album, which is scheduled to be released in May this year. The new song features a guest appearance from Leah Stanhope of CONGRATULATIONS.

Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “The Waking Sun is the title track from the album – and it’s an ironic title. The song is a day-to-day analysis of depression, which lingers throughout every ‘waking’ moment of the day. This has been a general theme in our writing since our last record, Temple Corrupted, and we felt that the title track summarises the album as a whole. It was a pleasure to invite Leah Stanhope from CONGRATULATIONS to feature on this track – her vocals add so much emotion to the song – it’s possibly the only song we’ve written in a major key.”
