Eluveitie release new music video for ‘Awen’

ELUVEITIE have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Awen, is taken from the Swiss folk metal band’s upcoming new album, Ànv, which is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Nuclear Blast Records.

Speaking about the new song, frontman Chrigel Glanzmann shares, “Awen is musically perhaps one of the album’s catchiest songs… sticking our necks out on pretty modern metal music, at the same time with a chorus coming in with that very traditional, mystically melancholic, solemn kind of ‘grandeur’, much like older ELUVEITIE songs such as Of Fire, Wind & Wisdom, Slania‘s Song, or Alesia. Lyrically it time-travels some fairly bold lines off that several thousand years old mythological text Ànv is based on, into the modern age and makes them speak directly to us and our modern civilizations! We’re really happy with and proud of it and we hope you’ll like it as much as we do!”
