Ex-Obituary & Gorgoroth bassist, Frank Watkins, dies

It is with heavy hearts that we can confirm that ex-OBITUARY and GORGOROTH bassist, Frank Watkins, has passed away

Frank Watkins, bassist for OBITUARY for 15 years before joining black metal titans GORGOROTH in 2007 has died at age 47. Circumstances surrounding the cause of death are yet to be confirmed.

The news was broke via a post on OBITUARY‘s official Facebook page. In a statement, the band said, “Just got the very sad news that Frank passed away this morning. Our thoughts and and prayers are with his family….”
