Exumer announce new album ‘Hostile Defiance’

EXUMER have announced a new album!

Titled Hostile Defiance, the upcoming album from the multinational thrashers is their fifth effort and is scheduled to be released in April this year.

The upcoming album was produced by Dennis Koehne (SODOM, MELECHESH) and tracking was done in studios in Dortmund and Frankfurt. Speaking about the upcoming album, vocalist Mem Von Stein says, “we wanted to sonically progress, incorporating more melodic elements in the music as well as more rhythmic variety. We are a lot braver trying to create an up to date and relevant sound that can easily stand alone in today’s thrash landscape without sounding trite or a throwback, and we’re challenging the listener not to get too comfortable with one specific feel, tempo or pace.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have launched a new music video for the album’s title track. The clip was created by renowned cover artist Costin Chioreanu (AT THE GATES, VOIVOD, etc.), who also made the album artwork and layout for the album.
