Face Yourself announce new EP ‘Fury’
FACE YOURSELF have announced a brand new EP!
The upcoming EP, titled Fury, is the second release from the transcontinental deathcore band is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Sumerian Records.
The five-track collection follows the success of their debut EP Martyr, which was released back in April. Fury was produced by Joey Sturgis [ASKING ALEXANDRIA, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA].
Alongside the EP announcement, the band have released a brand new single, titled Fractures. Speaking about the new single and upcoming EP, vocalist Yasmine Liverneaux shares, “we are excited to release our new single Fractures produced by Joey Sturgis. The lyrics explore a darker theme, as it speaks a lot about self hatred, exploring the pressure of beauty standards and the ‘mutilations’ those pressures can lead someone to. It’s like changing your appearance so much to fit a mould to the point that you don’t even recognise yourself which can be very violent.”
“Alongside this new single, we’re happy to announce the future release of our new record Fury. After two years of being a band, we have reached a sound that we think looks like us, this is our best work yet and we are happy to be working once again with Joey Sturgis. He became such a great element to our team, and is always pushing us to improve ourselves.”
