Faun announce new album ‘Hex’

FAUN have released a new music video!

Titled Hex, the upcoming album from the German Pagan folk band is the follow-up to 2022’s Pagan, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Pagan Folk Records.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, FAUN have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Lady Isobel. The new single is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Lament and Black Eyed Dog.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Oliver Satyr shares, Lady Isobel has its source in one of my poems, which I wrote about a dear friend of mine. The lute accompaniment was inspired by the guitar playing of, for example, Nick Drake and Bert Jansch. Together with great vocals, flute playing, synthesisers and rhythms of my band colleagues, Lady Isobel has become a wonderfully floating ballad that I am very proud of.”
