Faun release new music video for ‘Nimue’
FAUN have released a brand new music video!
The new music video, for the track Nimue, is taken from the German Pagan folk band’s upcoming studio album, Hex, which is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Pagan Folk Records.
Inspired by the Arthurian legend of The Lady of the Lake, Nimue is a poetic and mesmerising track that explores the story of a mortal woman who becomes a student of the great wizard Merlin. The figure of Nimue has appeared in folklore as a sorceress, a water spirit, and even an ancient goddess said to possess the legendary sword Excalibur. In FAUN’s interpretation, she is portrayed as a huntress whose journey into magic is brought to life through haunting melodies and lyrical storytelling.
The track features a guest appearance from gothic folk artist CHELSEA WOLFE, whose dark presence adds a captivating layer to the song’s atmosphere.
