Figures release new music video for ‘Underpaid Machinery’
FIGURES have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Underpaid Machinery, is taken from the Australian metallers’ upcoming debut album, Operating In Unsafe Mode, which is scheduled to be released in July, via self-release. The upcoming debut album follows two well-received EPs; Self Titled in 2016 and Chronos in 2017.
Speaking about the personal influences that sparked the fires of the new song, vocalist Mark Tronson says, “as I was a worker in the hospitality community that had been personally affected by these scandals in the past, I had a lot of first hand experience and pent up rage about it. There’s a definite wartime battle ground aesthetic going on with this song, and I wanted the vocals in the verses to imitate lobbing grenades, explosions and machine gun fire.”
