Final Gasp release new music video for ‘Burials of Birth’

FINAL GASP have released a new single!

The Boston dark‑punk/post‑hardcore outfit have unveiled Burials of Birth, the latest single from their forthcoming album New Day Symptoms, which is scheduled to be released later this month, via Relapse Records.

Speaking about the album’s thematic core, vocalist Jake Murphy explains, “a lot of New Day Symptoms was written in an outside perspective – what could’ve happened if things were different, but ultimately it didn’t end that way. You can’t change what’s already been done, so you just have to move on. It just means it’s a part of who you are now.”

On Burials of Birth, Murphy recounts the tragic story of a homeless man he encountered throughout his youth – a man living off‑grid whose tent encampment was burned down by police, leaving him to freeze to death as he attempted to rebuild.
