Forlorn announce debut album ‘Aether’
FORLORN have announced their debut album!
Titled Aether, the upcoming album from the UK folk horror metal band is their debut full-length album and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Church Road Records.
For the upcoming debut album, the band worked closely with producer Sam Bloor [GRAPHIC NATURE, BLACK COAST, DREAM STATE] to create a crushing soundscape that’s soaked in energy and authentic destruction.
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Funeral Pyre. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming debut album, following on from Spirit and Creatress.
Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “Funeral Pyre explores the element of fire and in this sense as a powerful divination tool. We took inspiration from the 1973 film The Wickerman and the concept of human sacrifice, in order for things to grow. We invite people to join us as we shed our naysayers and become stronger together.”
