Fortress Festival announce another four new bands
Four new bands have been announced for next year’s Fortress Festival!
Following the announcement earlier this month, that saw THE GREAT OLD ONES, SPIRIT POSSESSION, PERCHTA and BELORE, confirmed, now, four new bands have been announced for next year’s black metal festival in Scarborough!
American black metallers AKHLYS will perform a UK exclusive set at next year’s festival whilst South American project SELBST will make their UK debut with an exclusive set. Also confirmed is GRIFT, who will perform their Syner album in its entirety, and atmospheric black metallers PERENNIAL ISOLATION will perform their 2021 album Portraits in its entirety in their UK debut and exclusive festival performance.
Speaking about performing at next year’s festival, N. of SELBST says, “this is a great opportunity for SELBST. Personally, and on behalf of the live band members, we are honoured to be part of this experience! We look forward to sharing an unforgettable moment of introspection with the attendees at this gathering.”
AKHLYS says, “AKHLYS is honoured to take part in Fortress Fest 2025. We will bring our brand of darkness to a region we have never been before, and I couldn’t think of a more fitting festival to do this.”
