Foxhaunt announce new EP ‘Division Culture’
FOXHAUNT have announced a new EP!
Titled Division Culture, the upcoming EP from the York-based alternative rock band is the follow-up to last year’s Mindset EP, and is scheduled to be released in April this year, via self-release.
The new tracks were written and recorded over three months with Robin Adams [ARCHITECTS, BLOOD YOUTH] in Leeds. Speaking about the upcoming EP, vocalist Ollie Swift says, “we wanted to write something about our take on social influences and how opinions, issues, and behaviours divide the world. I think especially off the back of the pandemic we felt like it made us reflect even more about how we act as human beings and the way we treat one another.”
Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new song lifted from the upcoming EP; the title track Division Culture.
Speaking about the new song, Swift says, “the song relates to how the world is split in two and how we have to spend every day of our lives trying to find a middle ground with people who don’t share the same opinions and/or values as us. Ultimately, we are now living in a society where there is a constant battle to try and make the world a better place but sometimes it’s just not possible.”
