Funeral Chic announce new album ‘Roman Candle’
FUNERAL CHIC have announced a new album!
Titled Roman Candle, the upcoming album from the American blackened punk band is the follow-up to 2018’s Superstition, and is scheduled to be released in July this year via Prosthetic Records.
The album was recorded at Legit Biz in Greensboro, North Carolina with engineer Kris Hilbert. Guitarist Robert Stroud oversaw production, and the album was mixed by Matt Russell and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.
Alongside the announcement of the album, the band have released a music video for the record’s lead single Spit & Crawl.
Speaking about the new song and the upcoming album, the band comment, “Spit & Crawl is our Hotel California, except it’s about angeldust instead of coke. This whole record is a bad acid trip, and this song is just the first tab. We could’ve quietly went away like so many other bands during the pandemic; instead we came back to make all your lives worse.”
