Gaerea announce new album ‘Coma’
GAEREA have announced a new album!
Titled Coma, the upcoming album from the Portuguese black metal band is the follow-up to 2022’s Mirage, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Season Of Mist.
The band worked with producer Miguel Tereso of Demigod Recordings for the production of Coma. Distinguishing themselves ever more so, the band handpicked their artist Nathan Lorenzana with a clear assignment to create their mesmerising cover artwork.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Hope Shatters. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from World Ablaze, which was released back in April.
“Welcome to the urban abyss,” the band’s unnamed vocalist pronounces. “Where dreams turn to rust.”
