Ġenn announce new EP ‘Liminal’

ĠENN have announced a brand new EP!

Titled Liminal, the upcoming EP from the Brighton-based, trans-national band is set for release March 30th 2021 via Everything Sucks Music.

Alongside the EP announcement, ĠENN have released the first single from it, titled 23rd March.

Speaking about the song, vocalist Leona Farrugia says “When I was writing this song’s lyrics, I was thinking about the current political situation… with Covid, Brexit, BLM… The chorus is written in the style of a Maltese expression…. In Malta, when someone is seen as ‘evil’, there’s a tendency to say that you’re gonna pray for someone’s soul since this particular person needs your prayers to be saved… Very biblical.”
