God Complex release new music video for ‘Salt And Ash’

GOD COMPLEX have released a new music video!

Having burst onto the metal scene with 2018’s Created Sick, the Merseyside metallic hardcore looked set to become a household name in UK metal. However, the band abruptly halted their momentum breaking up alongside the release of 2021’s debut full-length To Decay In A Deathless World.

Now, the band have risen from the ashes through the release of new single Salt And Ash. Speaking about the new single, the band shares, Salt And Ash begins with a reprise of the melody from Worthy Host that closed the album. We wanted to show that in one sense we’re picking up exactly where we left off and to tie the new songs to what came before. It was important that we respect our previous body of work but demonstrate that we’re not content to rest on our laurels and retread old ground, which is why the song immediately veers into absolute chaos. The title Salt And Ash evokes a terminus, the emptiness left behind when everything has been destroyed.”

The release of the new single comes alongside the news that the band have signed with SharpTone Records. Speaking about the signing, the band shares, “we’re thrilled to be working with SharpTone on this release. We have longstanding friendships with other bands on the label and have always been impressed with their vision and the support they’ve extended to our peers. We’re humbled to be part of such an amazing roster of artists and elated to start this new chapter for the band.”
