Godeth release new song ‘Vestige’
GODETH have released a new single!
The Yorkshire‑based groove‑filled death metal band have released their brand new single Vestige. Marking their first new music of 2026, the track arrives following their successful 2025 singles Fleshmonger and Leeches.
Speaking about the new single, the band shares, “we are excited for Vestige to be finally released January 29th. The song has been a popular staple of our live set for the last six months and we can’t wait for our fans to be able to hear our recorded version of it. The song is aggressive, groovy, and heavy, encapsulating everything we stand for as a band.
We once again teamed up with the amazing Adam Gadsby who produced the song and saw our vision for what we wanted the song to be, and together we created our best sounding song to date. Vestige illustrates the inescapable rapid descent into misinformation politics and populism that the world is seemingly crashing into. Using satire and sarcasm to numb the pain, Vestige furiously lambasts the current state of affairs and declares a resounding ‘hell no’ to being dragged into the chaos and murder that sadly is commonplace in 2026. We can’t wait for its release!”
