Going Off release new songs ‘Pay The Price’ and ‘Bed Of Concrete’
GOING OFF have released two new songs!
Titled Pay The Price and Bed Of Concrete, the new tracks follow the release of Crossroads and Weak Links last month, and of the band’s debut full-length What Makes You Tick? in February this year.
Speaking about Pay The Price, the band explain, “Pay The Price addresses the unfortunately all-too relevant subject matter of the horrors women face at the hands of predatory men. It’s about these violent, criminal scumbags finally paying the price for the pain they have subject women to throughout all of existence. It’s about giving women the confidence to know we’ll listen when they speak. It’s about calling out other ignorant males who comfortably turn a blind eye to the heinous acts that are committed right in front of them.”

On Bed Of Concrete, the band add, “Bed Of Concrete highlights the ongoing, ever-growing crisis of homelessness that’s been widespread across the UK for as far back as I can remember. “An existence of pure misery. Forced to suffer a life spent living in the streets. Ignored by almost everybody that you meet. Abandoned by this bullshit society. I’m fucking sick of it. So many people we’ve failed we see lying on a bed of concrete.” ”
