Gojira release new song ‘The Chant’

GOJIRA have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled The Chant, is taken from the French metal behemoths’ hugely anticipated new album, Fortitude, which is scheduled to be released this Friday.

The centrepiece of an album-long call to action, the new song is a slow-burning track featuring some of the band’s most melodic material to date. Where past songs were driven by nuanced dynamics and technical guitar arrangements, The Chant is a self-described ‘healing ritual’ emanating primordial warmth, culminating in a harmony-stacked chorus that bridges the gap between ancient hymnals and contemporary rock.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Joe Duplantier says, “let this chant ring in your bones and lift you up.”
