Graphic Nature announce new EP ‘new skin’
GRAPHIC NATURE have announced a new EP!
Titled new skin, the upcoming EP from the British nu-metal-meets-metalcore band is their brand new studio release and is scheduled to be released in February this year, marking their label debut at Rude Records.
Intending to mix moments of snarling nu-metal and the scalding fury of SLIPKNOT’s debut album with instrumental passages that at times recall NINE INCH NAILS’ Trent Reznor, frontman Harvey Freeman says “this is where we’ve nailed the GRAPHIC NATURE sound.”
Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming EP; the title track new skin. The new song is the third single to be released from the forthcoming EP, following on from chokehold and drain, which were both released last year.
Speaking about the new song, Freeman says, “new skin, is about learning to break away from the toxicity that’s holding you back. More often than not, the only thing stopping us from achieving what we want is ourselves. And only by shedding the layers of hate and low self esteem that we’ve created can we truly be happy with where we are and where we want to be.”
