Greg Puciato releases new music video for ‘Never Wanted That’
GREG PUCIATO has released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Never Wanted That, is taken from the former THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN frontman’s upcoming second album Mirrorcell, which is scheduled to be released in July this year via Federal Prisoner. The video was directed by Jim Louvau and Tony Aguiler.
Speaking about the new music video, Puciato comments, “This vid was a nice exercise in making do with what you have available to you, or the creative benefits of limitation. We filmed this in Baltimore, which was special to me, at like 3 a.m., while on the Cantrell tour. It was really the only time I had. We did multiple whole takes and this was the one. Jim and Tony, as usual, did an excellent job. At one point you can see me fuck up the words. I had to learn so many Cantrell songs that I forgot my own goddamned lyrics.”

Mirrorcell follows Puciato‘s 2020 debut solo album Child Soldier: Creator Of God and sees Puciato once again recording all guitars and bass for the record. It was produced by his long-time collaborator Steve Evetts and features drum work from Chris Hornbrook.
