Greta Van Fleet release new song ‘Sacred The Thread’
GRETA VAN FLEET have released a new song!
The new song, titled Sacred The Thread, is taken from the American rock band’s upcoming new album, Starcatcher, which is scheduled to be released in July this year.
Speaking about the new song, frontman Josh Kiska says, “I always like to think that some people’s first impression of GRETA VAN FLEET in concert is, ‘wow, these guys really like dressing to the left and blowing shit up’. This song is particularly important to me because it’s about my jumpsuits.”

The upcoming album was written and recorded by the band alongside Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb [CHRIS STAPLETON, BRANDI CARLILE]. Recorded at the legendary RCA Studios in Nashville, the band utilised the large recording room to capture the pure energy of their world-renowned live performances. “We didn’t really have to force or be intense about writing, because everything that happened was very instinctual,” guitarist Jake Kizska says. “If anything, the record is our perspective, and sums up where we are as a group and individually as musicians.”
Starcatcher is set for release on July 21st via Lava/Republic/EMI Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
