Greywind release new music video for ‘The Scarecrow’

GREYWIND have released a new music video!

The track, titled The Scarecrow, is the latest preview from the Irish brother-sister duo’s forthcoming album Severed Heart City, which is scheduled for release on January 16th, 2026 via FLG. The song explores the pain of watching someone you care about suffer, and the unseen impact that struggle has on those around them.

Speaking about the new single, guitarist Paul O’Sullivan says, The Scarecrow is about watching someone you care about suffer and them not realising how loved they are and how their pain affects you too.”

Vocalist Steph adds, “for me, the character of ‘the scarecrow’ is a devil/angel on your shoulders. He represents the people around me who are going through their own internal battles too. I think of times after shows with fans, or messages we get from them, where they share their stories with us and I feel less alone in my feelings. He reminds me to never quit but to continue on the path to my dreams.”
