Grumpster announce new self-titled album
GRUMPSTER have announced a new album!
The upcoming album, a self-titled album, is the brand new album from the Californian garage punk band and is the follow-up to 2022’s Fever Dream. The new album is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Pure Noise Records.
Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “Grumpster is an album mostly about mental health. It’s about the ebbs and flows of mental health, depression, anxiety, love, physical health, etc. This collection of songs is all about lived experiences, feelings, emotions, and how it felt to exist in general over the past couple of years.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Wither. Speaking about the new song, the band says, “over the past few years I developed some pretty intense issues with my appetite and eating in general and it was really starting to take its toll. I felt my body and brain getting weaker and it really felt like I was starting to wither away, hence the song.”
