Guiltless announce debut album ‘Teeth To Sky’
GUILTLESS have announced their debut album!
Titled Teeth To Sky, the upcoming album from the doom/sludge metal band is their debut full-length album (and the follow-up to last year’s Thorns EP), and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Neurot Recordings.
The upcoming debut album was recorded remotely by the members of the band – except for the drums, which were recorded by Travis Kammeyer at Fahrenheit Studios in Johnson City, Tennessee. The album was mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City in Salem, Massachusetts, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon.
Speaking about the upcoming debut album, guitarist/vocalist Josh Graham shares, “the EP had a pretty narrow focus starting from my ideas. With this record, my main goal was to really collaborate with Sacha and Dan and Billy because those guys are great songwriters. The new album is meant to open up the sonic palette and explore more territory.”
Alongside the announcement of the debut album, GUILTLESS have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming debut album; the title track Teeth To Sky. Speaking about the new song, Graham says, “the title track represents a surrender to nature’s unstoppable force. As climate extremes continue to grow and impact virtually everyone on earth, we are now facing the impact of our forefathers’ actions, and our children will live through a new and unprecedented future.”
