Harbinger release new music video for ‘Hate File’
HARBINGER have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Hate File, is the brand new song from the technical deathcore band and marks their first new music since the release of 2019’s Compelled To Suffer. The new song is the first track from the band to feature new vocalist Dilan Alves to the fold, who replaced Thom Gardner.
Speaking about Alves joining the band, they share, “with Dilan onboard, our mantra still remains the same. Big riffs, thought-provoking lyrics, and a whole lot of heavy. This new release really broadens our influential palette. Dilan brings a wealth of inspiration – from the most brutal of metal genres to more vulnerable emotional styles like post-hardcore, and the music behind the vocals is dipping more into old school thrash and nu-metal. This all comes together to give you a post-pandemic HARBINGER in 2021/22.” Dilan adds, “for the past two years we have been working relentlessly behind the scenes to create the best art we can and I am immeasurably excited to join as the new frontman of HARBINGER and show everyone what we’ve been creating.”
Speaking about the new song, the band adds, “throughout life we see and connect with people that view others as nothing more than stepping stones – means to achieve and get to where they want to be. Many times we see the same behaviours in politicians, they will calculate every word in order to pull on strings only they can see – manipulating people who don’t have the slightest idea they’re being played. Hate File was written about how despicable characters like these make us feel.”
