Helfró release new music video for ‘Afeitrun’

HELFRÓ have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Afeitrun, is taken from the Icelandic black metal duo’s upcoming self-titled debut album which is scheduled to be released in April this year, via Season of Mist Underground Activists.

The new music video was filmed in the beautiful, frozen landscapes of Iceland by Void Revelations and speaking about the song, the band says, “we’re thrilled to present Afeitrun, an odyssey into the boundless and bare wastelands of cold and despair.”

We first introduced this venomous black metal duo in September of last year, and speaking of their sound, they told us, “we are both into fast and technical metal. Although HELFRÓ is far from technical, I think we managed to create something that is relentless but at the same time diverse enough to keep things interesting. One of the goals was to do our own thing and break out of the overwhelming influence that dominates a lot of the current black metal scene. We enjoy it but we felt there was room for something that draws influence from a more diverse palette.”
