Holding Absence announce new UK tour dates
HOLDING ABSENCE have announced a new string of UK shows!
Fresh from their recent shows in support to YOUNG GUNS, the rising Welsh newcomers will undergo a string of UK shows in support to OUR LAST NIGHT in November this year. Speaking about the tour, vocalist Lucas Woodland says, “after a very successful run with our new friends in YOUNG GUNS, we’re ecstatic to announce that we’ll be returning to Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester & London this November, live and in colour, as support to OUR LAST NIGHT. We hope to see you at a show!” Alongside the announcement of the new tour dates, the band have released a music video for new single Heaven Knows. Speaking about the new song and video, Woodland says, “the narrative of Heaven Knows reads a suicide note – A depressed person musing over their life and the lasting impressions they would like to leave on the world and the people they met in their lives. “I’m still alive in all I’ve touched. To every one I’ve ever loved – Don’t look at me with regret.” Referencing several of our other songs, this feels like a final conclusion for the narrator. The ending crescendoing of Heaven Knows poses the statement, as you jump into the abyss, “Heaven knows if there’s a Heaven at all”.”
