Hot Water Music announce new album ‘Feel The Void’

HOT WATER MUSIC have announced a new album!

Titled Feel The Void, the punk band’s eighth studio album is slated for release in March next year, via End Hits Records (EU) and Equal Vision Records (ROW).

The follow up to 2017’s Light It Up and intends to offer up 12 songs of energetic and impassioned tracks which push through personal and global darkness. Feel The Void sees vocalist/guitarist Chris Wollard resume his duties after stepping away from HOT WATER MUSIC to focus on his mental health. This album also marks the return of producer Brian McTernan to the mixing desk.

Speaking about the band’s return, co-vocalist/guitarist Chuck Ragan says, “this is so much more than just a band. A lot of people understood a long time ago that we, the band, used HOT WATER MUSIC as a vehicle for our own therapy, to help get over these barriers and be able to continue when we’re feeling at our lowest, or feeling like the rest of the world is against us. Years ago, that was the choice that we made as a band – that it’s not about being popular or making money or seeing your name on a marquee. This is a way for us to release all this angst and inspiration and positivity, and share music that drives us to become better people, better friends and better communities. It literally started with four of us, and over the years it became so much more than just a band – and I’m just so incredibly honoured to be a piece of this puzzle.”

The first glimpse of Feel The Void comes with the recently released single Killing Time. The song is a response to the bombardment of negative information we were subject to in the early days of the pandemic.
