IANAI release new song ‘Khaalo’

IANAI have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Khaalo, is taken from the genre-bending mysterious band’s upcoming debut album, Sunir, which is scheduled to be released in June this year via Svart Records. It follows previous single Elitha.

Speaking about the new song, band leader Jaani Peuhu comments, “It is a song about confronting your own fears and limitations you’ve carried within since childhood. What things are suitable in our culture and what are we allowed to believe in? In this song we’re breaking free from all that, with no fear of being condemned by our peers or society. Out of our dark hiding places with small, fearful steps first and then onwards and upwards as high as we can. There’s no stopping us. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
