Iced Earth announce 30th anniversary edition of self-titled album
ICED EARTH have announced a special reissue of their debut self-titled album!
This year, the legendary self-titled debut of metallers ICED EARTH celebrates its 30th anniversary! Originally released in 1990, the self-titled debut now returns in a brand-new edition featuring high class remixing and remastering courtesy of Zeuss [OVERKILL, QUEENSRŸCHE etc]. The anniversary edition of the album is scheduled to be released in December, via Century Media Records.
Speaking about the upcoming reissue, guitarist Jon Schaffer says, “this 30 year old debut classic has been remixed and remastered from the original two inch tapes by Zeuss, and it sounds fantastic. It has a modern touch and still retains the dynamics of the original release. This is a big step forward sonically and visually. We’re excited to have our exclusive artwork and blood red vinyl version at www.icedearthmerch.com.”
Alongside the announcement of the anniversary album, the band have released the first single from the upcoming release; the 2020 remaster of Written On The Walls.
