Idle Minds release new music video for ‘God In Your Eyes’

IDLE MINDS have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the song God In Your Eyes, is the brand new single from the Welsh post-hardcore band and marks their first new music since their last single, Tempest, which was released last year.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Megan Jenkins says, “I’ve always been interested in the ideas behind religion and God In Your Eyes is a sort of exploration of that. False prophets are spoken of frequently in religious texts but I feel that these people that claim the gift of prophecy or divine inspiration are still widespread today, just with slightly different intentions. This new single is told from the perspective of one of these modern false prophets with their pursuit of power and is the beginning of a whole new sound for us. We’re moving away from the comfort of writing depressing & angsty songs to soundtrack whatever breakup I was going through at the time and moving into a darker, heavier sound, so we can really begin to explore what makes us tick.”
